The new project will be a major step towards reducing the carbon footprint.

The construction of the world’s largest blue ammonia plant has begun in Qatar. This environmentally friendly product is used in energy and industry as an alternative to traditional hydrocarbons.

The project, called “Ammonia-7,” is estimated at $1.2 billion and involves the introduction of carbon dioxide capture and storage technologies. It is expected that the plant will be able to produce 1.2 million tons of ammonia per year, which will be a significant contribution to the development of a low-carbon economy.

The launch of the plant is scheduled for 2026. According to Qatari officials, this step confirms their commitment to leadership in the field of sustainable energy.
